Toddler Program
We divide our toddlers into two separate classrooms. Toddler Two A is for children 18 months to two years old and Toddler Two B is for children two years old to three years old. Both rooms are designed to care for no more than 10 children. We maintain a child to staff ratio of 5:1 which is essential in meeting the needs of the growing toddlers.
Toddlers are driven to explore and discover. They are independent and curious and need a safe environment that supports their cognitive and physical development. Our toddlers participate in structured activities that are designed to encourage the development of their fine and gross motor skills, listening skills, language skills, and self help skills including toilet training.
We feel that parent communication is essential to providing quality child care. Each morning our staff will ask that you inform us of any special needs for the day. At pick up time, you will receive a complete report of your child's day including daily activities, eating, sleeping, diapering/toileting and disposition. We also offer an open door policy which allows for parents to come into the center at any time of the day. Parents are also welcome to help us with our parties, field trips or special events.
